Black Bears are being spotted after their annual Hibernation
It’s that time of the year, Black Bears are hungry and are looking for food. When its low tide bears are being spotted on beaches in the Discovery Passage looking under rocks in the sand for clams and crabs. The way Black Bears move big heavy rocks is just amazing, it almost looks effortless. Watching Black Bears from a distance we can give you the perfect picture opportunity from our boat.
After talking about clams and crabs I got a little bit hungry, so I found one of my favorite Scallop recipes and I thought I would share it with you. In spirit with the black bears we don’t need to turn over any rocks to enjoy this little feast.
